Dear Colleagues,

We are sorry for the delay in sending instructions for preparation of
your contributions to the proceedings of our conference. On our homepage 
(http://www.ncac.torun.pl/~ppn ) you can find now all necessary files:

Some points that we would like to underline:

SPACE AVAILABLE:

8 pages for 30 minutes talks
6 pages for 20 minutes talks
4 pages for posters


WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:

What we want from you is a latex file with your contribution, one printed
copy of it and separately all your figures with best possible quality. You
do not need to paste-up your figures into the text but please leave
appropriate space in the manuscript. If you will find time to paste your
figures (black-white only, see below) please send us also encapsulated
postscript files of them.


LATEX VERSION AND FONTS:

We are going to prepare the proceedings with Latex2e and PostScript fonts.
These are somewhat narrower than the default Computer Modern fonts. If you
do not have PostScript fonts installed then prepare it with the default
keeping in mind that the final layout may be somewhat different. It is
possible also to use an older Latex2.09 - see header section of proctmpl.tex
for details.


HALFTONES/PHOTOGRAPHS:

 Halftone images should NOT be pasted into the manuscript but original
glossy photo should be submitted. You can also submit them as a file (tif
and encapsulated postscript are preferred). Please note that Kluwer can
print color photos as black and white.


COLOR FIGURES:

Authors wishing to have color figures will be charged for this separately
by Kluwer. The price for the first page is 1750 Dfl, second 1000 Dfl, 3rd -
16th 500 Dfl extra per page. (1 Dfl = 0.41 USD)


REFERENCES:

We propose to adopt for the reference style the one used by Astronomy \&
Astrophysics


MACROS:

Please do not use your own macros as there can be a conflict with Kluwer
macros or macros of other authors.


INDEX:

We are going to prepare an index of all objects mentioned in the
proceedings. Please enter all objects names as: \inx{object_name} If you use
index commands within a caption, precede \inx with \protect This should not
effect your layout but will be a great help when compiling the index.


DEADLINE:

Please remember that the deadline for the submission of you manuscript is
now: October 15, 2000.
